Visa to Vietnam

To entry in Vietnam, visa application is necessary. You may obtain tourist VISA after travel agency or directly after Vietnamese Embassy or Consulate in your country. The participants who travel with family are recommended to request tourist VISA.

The Colloquium secretariat may help you if you respect the following procedure.

1. Fulfil the visa application form (DOC or PDF).
   New visa application can be downloaded HERE. (DOC format).
2. Send it to the Belgian secretariat by fax or by e-mail,
3. When the green light from Vietnamese authority is given, we will personally notify you of the authorisation code.
4. With this code, you may then obtain the visa from a Vietnamese Consulate or Embassy in your country.
5. For the countries where Vietnamese Consulate or Embassy is absent, with this authorisation code, visa may be obtained in the arrival airport.

Every personal information is confidential, it will not be distributed without the agreement of the concerned person.

Application of VISA after July 30/2000 NEW

The participant who desires obtaining the VISA with application after July 30, has to contact directly the following agency :

The costs and the delay proposed by this agency are the following :

	One person: USD15/person
	Party of two persons: USD 10/person
	Party of 3-9 persons: USD 8/person
	Group of 10 persons up: USD 5/person

This cost is for taking the authorisation letter from the Immigration Dept. in HCMC and fax to you. You will submit this letter to Vietnam Embassy in your country and have to pay directly visa fee to get entry/exit visa (for this fee you have to check with the Vietnam Embassy in your country).

In case you want to take entry visa upon arrival (at Vietnam international gates: Noi Bai Airport or Tan Son Nhat Airport), we will charge USD 30/person for the authorisation letter; customer will keep it for flight check in.

Customer also have to pay directly USD 25/person to the immigration desk to take entry/exit visa.

Vietravel should be provided customers? personal details including full name, sex, date of birth, nationality, occupation, passport number, date of arrival, date of departure, and special demands (Note: customer?s passport must be valid for at least 6 months prior to the date of arrival into Vietnam).

The visa processing lasts for 5 days. In case of urgent visa application, customer has to pay extra cost (this cost depend on each certain circumstance).
