Science without Borders - student mobility 2013

	Welcome on the page dedicated to the Science without Borders Programme !

You are a brasilian student and applied to a "Graduação Sanduíche" scholarship for Belgium from the Science without Borders programme in 2013 ? 

This page is for you!

Don't forget: for your scholarship in the programme, you must apply :

1. First at the specific CIUF-Science without Border call, before April 5th 2013. If you haven't done this, follow the link below.

2. Second, you must send your application for an exchange stay at the University of Liège (between April 29th and May 5th.

This page will give you some more information concerning the second item: your application for an exchange at ULg.

The online form will be available on this page between 29th April and 10th May 2013.  You won't be able to complete the form after the 10th May.

For your application to be valid, please follow step by step the procedure below:

1. Compose your study plan

Using the attached Learning agreement, compose a study plan for your stay at the University of Liège, matching the courses followed in Brazil with the one you will follow at ULg.

Your study plan should be composed of 30 credits per semester.  You can check all the study programmes offered by the University of Liège on the following webpage.

As well as the websites of the various Faculties participating in the call:

The academic year in Belgium is different from the brazilan one, organized in two semester as follows:

• 1st semestre : monday 16th September to 1st February 2014
• 2nd semestre : monday 3rd February t 30st June 2014

 2. Fill in the online application form (available between 29th April and 10th May)

This form is mandatory: it will provide us with all the requested informations for your application:

• your personal data;
• your stay at ULg (Study programme, duration of stay, etc.)
• your studies followed in Brazil.

To go to the next page of the form, click on « Suivant » at the bottom right of the page.
To validate your application, don't forget to click on « Envoyer » at the end of the form.

3. Upload in the form, in a .pdf, version, the following requested documents :

• the transcripts of records for your former years of studies at University
• your study programme (Learning agreement) for your whole stay at ULg
• the official proof of knowledge of french (B1 or B2, depending from the Faculty)
  We insist that our exchange students should have a minimal knowledge of French (English if all their courses are in English) to attend classes and take exams. Therefore we ask them to join to their Application Form a document testifying their level of French (English). The minimal required level is B1 (B2 for HEC-Management School)(Common European Framework of Reference).

Your application will only be taken into account if all these documents are uploaded online.

4. The official notification of your selection

Your final selection will be published after 10th June (end of the selection process by the Science without borders programme). 

If necessary, the University of Liège could request you to send more information related to your registration. 

We remind your that you must have applied to a Science without Border scholarship (call CIUF) in order for us to be able to examine your application at ULg. Your name must be stated in the official list transmitted by CNPq in the frameword of the call with CIUF
