This lecture by Laure Fagnart, attaché at the History of the Art of Modern Times Department, discusses the portraits painted by da Vinci, notably the 'Lady with an Ermine' and the very famous 'Mona Lisa.'

It is above all a question of understanding why these paintings marked a turning point in the development of the potrait as a genre. The presentation also looks at the portraits drawn by the Master, especially his so-called 'grotesque heads.'
