Master fundamental knowledge, be able to tackle increasingly complex issues and acquire a solid methodology to design an architecure project : these are the goals of the bachelors in Architecture. Generally speaking, this 1st cycle teaches you how to conceive the architectural space and to make your ideas take form by progressively calling upon, developing, confronting and reinforcing your basic knowledge and skills. Especially at the bachelor level, theoretical courses progressively initiate you to various fields. Teachers present the fundamental concepts of their respective fields by involving students wherever possible. The programme includes courses related to the the following subjects :
- sciences
- technology and construction
- humanities and culture theories
- knowledge of the territory and the environment
- urban planning and landscaping
- means of expression
- communication and graphical representation techniques
- mastering the digital tools
By exploiting the full variety of fields presented, you will become able to analyse single facts or elements while maintaining a cross-disciplinary reflection. This approach will enhance the workshop activities, and provide future architects with skills and knowledge that will prove useful when communicating with specialists from other fields. It will also enable them to take initiative in termes of creative research and solutions.
The Faculty of Architecture's theoretical courses have a number of specificities :

- their teaching methods allow to develop workshop activities
Internships on construction sites and within companies will allow you to observe what real-life architectural work is like.
