A Faculty of Architecture in Liège

Starting in the 2010-2011 academic year, the higher institutes of architecture Lambert Lombard and Saint-Luc de Wallonie (Liège) have joined the University of Liège as a Faculty of Architecture.

Not only can the Faculty of Architecture benefit from the considerable resources and experience accumulated by both institutes, it can also now exploit the ULg's teaching and research structures as well as its many student services.

These synergies open up new perspectives to develop architectural training in Europe.

It is well accepted that architecture is a field of teaching and research of its own : the specific methodology of an architectural project involves pluridisciplinarity, complexity, synthesis and creativity. Working with space at any scale involves fundamental social issues related to quality of life space.
