All the Engineering education programmes, with the exception of biomedical Engineering, can be combined with a specialised education in management jointly organised with the HEC-ULg management school. In this case 30 credits of technical training are replaced with 30 credits devoted to business company management. This combination, unique in the French Speaking Community of Belgium, is an ULg exclusive.

This programme has been specifically designed to allow students to pass as quickly as possible from the stage of learning essential notions to an understanding of business companies and to a practical on the ground stage.

Based on a participative teaching practice, this education enables you to acquire solid basics in finance, strategy, marketing, human resource management, organisation, leadership, and production and supply chain management. Finally, courses specific to the outcome in question are for the most part given in English. This outcome allows you to reorient your career differently according to the opportunities you come across, all the while being equipped with the skills expected of a engineer. It in this way responds to strong demand on the part of businesses in terms of the profile of future graduates.

Masters with Professional Focus in sustainable car technologies

This programme was developed in partnership with the "Campus Automobile de Spa-Francorchamps", and is unique in Belgium. Courses will be given in English, on the campus at Spa. The programme of several "civil engineering"1 masters (Professional Focus), the programme will also present itself as a certificate for graduates.

ABC FSA 10-11 - Technologie auto 1

It was designed to meet the challenge that the automobile industry must face at this time : improving vehicle performance (engine, safety...) while reducing CO² emissions.
The industry therefore needs engineers and scientists who can innovate in this promising field.

In order to meet this objective, emphasis will be put on lab work, practical work and design exercises. The programmes benefit from the partnership with the "Campus Automobile de Spa-Francorchamps', which is one of the public office for professional training (FOREM), with many high-performance equipments and experimental systems.

Using these high-technology tools, students can acquire qualifications that are suited to the most advanced industrial practices.

Given the high level of specialisation of the equipment available on the Campus and its location next to a remarkable racing track, the programme will be oriented towards two fields :

  • Vehicle dynamics (module 1)
  • Clean, electric and hybrid engines, etc. (module 2)

Several experts will be involved in the courses, including from the field of motor sports (F1 teams).

(1) masters in civil engineering (electrical, electromechanical and mechanical)
