Do you want to apply for ULg Artist Student status?

statut approuvé au CA du 16 juin 2010

  • Collate all the documents requested: they will depend on your personal situation, but your file will only be examined by the 'Artist Student' Committee if it is complete!
  • Before 30 September, send your file to Aurore Berhin (Student Quality of Life service - University of Liège, 7 Place du 20 Aoüt, 4000 Liège). If this date has passed and you require the status for the current academic year, contact A. Berhin.

The 'ULg Artist Student' Committee will make its decision at the latest 15 working days after 30 September, assuming your file is complete; you will be informed by post or email within two weeks. This decision will, of course, be substantiated.

If the response is positive, you will be considered as a 'ULg Artist Student' and can benefit from the related advantages;

You should make contact with the administrative coordinator. His or her role is to help you with administrative formalities, to help you and support you in your project. Together, you will sign the charter which makes the joint commitment to your study programme official: the rights and obligations of each party are contained in it;

Through the academic year, send him or her any information which is relevant to the smooth running of your status, and send them any requests within reasonable timescales (as soon as possible if this relates to timetables and at least one month in advance if it relates to assessments or exams).

The coordinator will also send you the details of your academic tutor. Get in touch with them quickly, as they are your main point of contact within the Section/Department in which you are enrolled. They will facilitate any steps which will enable you to achieve your objectives (e.g. any staggering of years of study, organising exam modalities, etc.) in order to share arrangements which you wish to establish in terms of your established programme.

At the end of the academic year, you will be asked to complete a short report about the experience you have had.

In the event of a negative decision, you may appeal to the Vice-Rector for Teaching (vice-recteur@ulg.ac.be) by recorded delivery, at the latest within two weeks of receiving the decision.
