How to make a gift to the University of Liège?

You can contribute to the ULg’s development by making a payment to account number 340-1501873-60 (the ‘Fondations de l'Université de Liège’ account), with the reference ‘Prom ULg – 2009’.

The ‘Patrimoine de l'Université de Liège’ is authorised is to receive gifts and bequests and benefits from tax immunity when it receives them.

Gifts given to the University of Liège give rise to tax deductions for the donor; thus a gift of €100 on average only costs him or her €65, thanks to income tax deductions.

Deductions are applicable to gifts between €30 and €331,200 donated by private individuals, and between €30 and €500,000 for business companies. The total amount of deductible gifts is limited respectively to 5% and 10% of total earnings.

Upwards of gifts or bequests in movables or immovables of a value of €25,000, a specific foundation can be established under the umbrella of the ‘Patrimoine de l'Université de Liège’, and the use made of the capital will be carried out according to the donor’s express wishes. In addition his or her name and memory will, if he or she so wishes, remain linked to his or her foundation.
