Postdoctoral positions at the University of Liège

The University of Liege invites applications for thirty-two postdoctoral fellowships for the academic year 2012-2013.

Each fellowship is for 12 months with a monthly salary in the range of 2.100 EURO. The appointment must start between September 1st and December 31st, 2012. Applications for a second 12 months post-doc grant are allowed, but will go through the same selection procedure as first-grant application. 

Applicants must have a PhD degree obtained after May 1st, 2007 and before the beginning of the fellowship. Applicants must have had their previous permanent affiliation outside of Belgium. 

Applications must include a CV and a two-page research project.

The research project must integrate well with ongoing research in the foreseen hosting research unit at the University of Liège. Applications should be introduced via the prospective host; selection will be done by the University Research Council, based on scientific excellence.
