Isolated courses

If you are the holder of a C.E.S.S. (equivalent of a secondary/high school diploma) and have the written agreement of your teacher (as well as that of the Dean of the Faculty of Sciences, Applied Sciences, Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Psychology, Law or Arts), you may register in three isolated courses.

Unlike students auditing courses, those taking isolated courses may take the exams and if successful, receive a certificate of achievement.  They will, however, not be entitled to receive a degree.

Registration in isolated courses does not confer the status of regular student upon the person enrolling nor does it entitle the student to obtain a residence permit.

The fees for this non-academic training program must be paid the day of registration :

  • 1 course : €81
  • 2 courses : €121
  • 3 courses : €161

All regular Ulg students may take up to three isolated courses in addition to their major course of study with the permission of their faculty.  They can register directly at the office of the faculty concerned; it is not necessary to go to the Registrar's Office.
