The Euraxess Mobility Centre at the University of Liège is part of a network of over 200 centres located in 35 FP7 partner countries.  It is committed to providing a free, quality, service to researchers to help them plan and organise their research stay, whether they arrive in Liège (Mobility IN), or whether they want to go abroad (Mobility OUT).

All requests concerning the practical aspects of a mobility project - for a researcher and his/her family - are followed up on a personal basis :

• visa and residence certificates,
• work permit,
• status at ULg,
• housing,
• bank account,
• health care, retirement and unemployment,
• childcare and schools,
• language and cultural courses,
• taxes,
• validation of diplomas,
• job search and funding opportunities,
• intellectual property,
• departure formalities,
• and finally... habits and customs of the Liège region.

The ULg Euraxess Mobility Centre works closely with the Euraxess Centres of the Belgian French Community Region and the Euraxess Centres of the Great Region.

To ensure the best possible service, we recommend that you ask an appointment.  You may also send us your request using the online form, which is sent directly to the Mobility Centre Manager who will reply to you.

Coming to ULg

Some formalities are essential before coming for a research stay at the University of Liège.  A list of these formalities and recommendations of the EURAXESS Centre of ULg are available on the following pages, according to your status :

• you are a student in 1st or 2nd cycle
• you are a PhD student
• you are a postdoc researcher
• you are a researcher or an academic member staff
