To publish or to find a job as a researcher in Europe
Euraxess Jobs is an online tool that lists job offers and funding possibilities for researchers from, or going to, the thirty-five partner countries of the FP7. Researchers of all nationalities can upload their CVs and search for job offers. Institutions, universities, businesses and other public or private research organisations can post calls for candidates and consult uploaded CVs on this site.
For many years, Ulg's Research Administration unit has been inviting those professors who are interested, to upload their job offers via this portal. Publication is, however, still far from systematic, and our calls are often not very widely ciruclated amongst the international community. Use of the online portal Euraxess Jobs developed by the Commission, by the university community, should help circulate calls internally as well as externally, opening them up to the best international researchers and help to achieve university authority's aims of excellence in research.
Euraxess Jobs is now included as part of the HR Strategy for Researchers.
