The ULg strives to promote student mobility through the Erasmus programme (in Europe) and Erasmus Belgica(in Flanders). Financed by the European Commission and the French-speaking community, these programmes give students the opportunity to spend time in another European partner university.

This dynamic is strengthened through intensive programmes and the creation of shared programmes. Among other things, some Faculties integrate the same kind of study placements outside Europe in their syllabus.

The ULg encourages all these students to experience a stay abroad during their training. It also tries to ensure additional financial assistance for those who need it for their placement, thanks to the Mobility Funds which it has created.

The ULg is also an attractive destination for its partners. In order to strengthen this appeal, some Faculties offer some of their Masters courses in English and in French. The ULg takes particular care to offer its many visiting students a warm welcome, information on accommodation and maximum integration into the university community.
