The Leonardo da Vinci program is financed by the European Union. One of its main objectives consists of increasing the quality and appeal of education and of professional training in Europe. It also aims at stimulating European labour market competitiveness by enabling graduates to develop and highlight their competencies, knowledge and qualifications beyond the frontiers.
 

Objective

The grants are proposed to young graduates who haven’t acquired a professional experience yet and who would like to develop new competences by improving their linguistic competences. The host countries are the 27 member states of the European Union, Norway, Island, Liechtenstein and Turkey. The term of the grant is 6 months.

The host organization (company, public institution, university, laboratory, association) has no financial or logistic obligations towards the trainee. He/she is the actor of his/her professional future : he/she must find where he/she will realize his internship and solve the logistic problems he will face in his host country.

For who?

The project addresses to graduates of 2008 and 2009 residing in Belgium and coming from the following Fields :

- graduates of technical sciences and Life Science, in particular the 5 fields mentioned in the Marshall Plan (Transport and Logistic, Mechanical Engineering, Life Science, Agro-Industry, Aeronautics)

- graduates of Human Sciences, at the condition that an experience in a company of the technological sector can increase the graduates chances to find rapidly a job afterwards

- graduates of sciences and technical fields waiting for a doctoral grant (FNRS or FRIA)A total of 21 grants will be distributed (from 1 June to 31 May, date of the last Return)
