International mobility

The mobility of researchers is a strategic priority of the ULg, which explains why it provides significant means to enable doctoral students, researchers and lecturers from ULg to meet with their peers, exchange with them, take part in high-level research, whether in conferences or during long- or short-term stays outside of the University.

Conferences abroad 

  

Eligibility.................  

All ULg doctoral students, researchers or lecturers who present a communication or poster abroad

Modalities................

Permanent call, immediate decision if the form and eligibility are conform

Restrictions..............

Only one grant per year per person

Grant......................

100 EUR/day on the premises

Research stay (1 week to 1 year)

  

Eligibility.................  

All ULg doctoral students, researchers or lecturers invited to work or meet with scientists abroad

Modalities................

Permanent call, quartely decision

Restrictions..............

Only one grant per year per person

Grant......................

- Travel expenses (from 250 EUR to 2 round trips)
- Life expenses (1.500 €/month, with a maximum of 15.000 €/year)

Sabbatical year

All ULg lecturers presenting a project requiring an offload of their teaching and research assignments

Modalities................

Permanent call, quartely decision

Restrictions.............

Subject to department’s approval, with authorisation from the President and stand-in solution
