The main objective is to provide each member of the university community, both staff and students, with an individual user name and password, which will remain valid for as long as they work or are registered at ULg.
These two codes (unique to each person) enable each user to access numerous protected services on the ULg Intranet: the "my ULg" portal; e-learning; email; network and wireless access, individual disk space; remote access, institutional information systems (staff and student databases, financial management, library loan service, etc.).
Identification codes serve as individual passports, and should be kept as secret as one's bank pin code, considering what they provide access to (which varies according to the user's profile and function).
