An accelerator for neuroscience research

The neurosciences are at the heart of the activities carried out by the University of Liège's Cyclotron Research Centre (CRC).

In the field of medicine, the CRC's scientific discoveries aim at a better understanding of the neurobiological models which govern sleep, memory, drug addiction, consciousness, locomotion, the behaviour and activity of new treatments (medicines, cerebral simulation, etc.).

The medical applications of these research programmes cover numerous domains such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, comas and epilepsy.
