Les bâtiments de la Faculté de Médecine vétérinaire forment un ensemble homogène de 31000 m2, dans la zone sud du campus, en face de l'Institut de Botanique et tout à côté du CHU. La rue principale a été nommée "rue de Cureghem" parce que c'est à Cureghem que la Faculté était installée, jusqu'en 1994.
Dans le haut de la première photo , on distingue la ferme expérimentale.

Tirant parti du relief, les architectes du CRAU, Jean-Claude Cornesse, André Hadjidinof et Etienne Maréchal, sous la direction de Jean Englebert, ont pu réaliser des bâtiments dont la hauteur ne dépasse jamais la cime des arbres voisins. Les premiers bâtiments ont été inaugurés en 1982, puis les bâtiments B41 et B42 , en 1988. Ensuite, les bâtiments B43a, B45 et la clinique des petits animaux B44 sont achevés en 1991 et enfin le B43b, en 1995.

Faculty of Veterinary Medicine

The buildings of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine form a harmonious whole of 31000 m2 in the south area of the campus in front of the Botanical Institute (the B40 buildings can be seen on the bottom picture) and just next to the CHU. On the first picture we can spot out the experimental Farm and on the fourth one, on the other side of the valley we see the white villas of the town of Embourg.
The main street was named “rue de Cureghem” because the Faculty was situated in Cureghem until 1994.
Taking advantage of the relief the architects of the CRAU Jean-Claude Cornesse, André Hadjidinof and Etienne Maréchal under the leadership of Jean Englebert were able to build constructions whose height never stands higher than the top of the neighbouring trees. The first buildings were inaugurated in 1982 followed by the buildings B41 and B42 in 1988. Next the buildings B43a, B45 and the clinic for small animals B44 were completed in 1991 and finally the building B43b in 1995.
