Interregional projects

The University of Liege has contributed over la lot of years to interregional development projects in the sector of research, education and community services, with its cross-border partners

  • of Dutch Limburg, Belgian Limburg and Rhineland Westphalia, within the Meuse-Rhine Euregio
  • of Lorraine, Luxembourg, Saarland, Rhineland-Palatinate within the Greater Region  

Its contribution can be pointed out in territorial development and land planning projects, projects on inter-university partnerships, and in the development of the regional economy centred on research and the transfer of technologies. 

The new European 2007-2013 programme will bring its share of projects to reinforce this international partnership.
