ULg, actor in development
Partner since the fifties in the creation of the University of Elizabethville (now Lubumbashi), instigator, from the start, of the Foundation for scientific research in Central Africa (FULREAC), the ULg capitalises on a long tradition of liaison with the developing countries.
More than ever, this trend of constructive solidarity is one of its priorities. More than one hundred laboratories of the ULg are currently involved in development actions. This will is demonstrated in its inclusion in the academic, scientific and technical sectors.
The ULg now maintains partnerships with more than sixty developing countries throughout the world.
