Our policy

ULg-André Ozer

Development is an urgent issue and, like any human challenge, it is also a complicated one. Without claiming to be everywhere, the ULg aims to deal with development in several ways. Among the various actions in which it is involved, the following can be noted:

 

Academic projects 

Support to local university structures, implementation and development of university services, departments, educational streams, inter-university twinning, etc.

Scientific cooperation

Joint research programmes, exchanges of lecturers and researchers, exchange of documentation, etc.

Development projects

Integrated development, transfer of technologies, research-action for development, etc.

Networks 

Institutional networks (from university to university, faculty to faculty, etc.), thematic networks (scientific, operational), etc.

Expertise 

Building up of multi-disciplinary and inter-faculty teams for a global outlook on the problems.

Education 

Organisation of higher education (3rd cycle) initiatives based on development, scientific or professional work experience, grouped or customised, for executives of the south and cooperation workers, etc.

Events

Organisation of seminars, conferences, encounters on all development issues.

Seeking specialists, circulating invitations to tender, etc
