You can go to this service to get extra information about studies and for information about the university and its course programmes.The Service d'Orientation Universitaire (University Careers Service) welcomes ULg students who wish, during their course, to think about their choice of study or profession. The SOU can also provide help when personal problems hinder a student's progress in his studies or his concentration.
The SOU is open throughout the year, including the holidays, Mondays to Fridays and Saturday mornings. Consultations are held by appointment only.

Revision and exam periods are sensitive times for students; the "ULg Dialogue" phone line is open to students who wish to get information or confide their problems in the strictest anonymity. This is a local authority service, an information centre for young people, whose aim is to welcome, listen, and give information, advice and guidance whatever the question, concern or problem of the moment is.
Centre J's main concern is availability: a team made up of about ten specialists in welcome and information (but no psychologist, lawyer or doctor) gives information to young people on all subjects: administrative procedures, jobs, accommodation, leisure activities, training, travel, legal and personal problems. These services are anonymous and free.
