A University with a global outlook
Set up in the heart of Europe, at the crossroads of the Euregio, the Ulg’s global outlook is one of its priorities. This intention is shown by a series of concrete initiatives.
An active partner of a network of more than 600 universities with which it liaises to encourage exchanges of students, researchers and knowledge, the ULg encourages its students to have an international-scale education. This ambition involves, in particular, a significant promotion of language-learning and student mobility.
In an attempt to make the world available to its students and researchers, the ULg favours mobility: exchange programmes for students and lecturers, implementation of combined diplomas, reinforcement of international scientific partnerships...This global outlook is also put into practice by a series of strategic cooperation agreements. Finally, the ULg is committed to helping developing countries by backing concrete projects and organising awareness-raising trips.
