The University of Liège is currently the only complete and publicly financed university in the french-speaking part of Belgium.
The ULg has introduced a curriculum based on generally recognised stages (bachelor's degree, master's degree, doctorate), including a more sustained international exchange policy and mobility within the institution and between different institutions, using the european credit system in order to valorise knowledge acquisitions in a modular system.
The "Bologna process" provides an opportunity for the University of Liège to ensure that its learning programmes are recognised on a European scale, and thus to draw foreign students, scholars and scientists. The integration of our university into the European space of Higher Education makes it possible for our students to better benefit from European exchange programmes and to valorise their expertise on the European job market.
