An institutional priority

Language classes within the courses

Numerous language courses and courses in foreign languages are organised in all areas of study, beginning in the first year of the bachelor's degree. See this page.

The "Institut Supérieur des Langues Vivantes" at ULg

This institute provides language classes (English, German, Dutch, Spanish, Italian) for students following non-linguistic courses, as well as preparatory language classes for newly enrolled students. It also organises classes in French as a foreign language for foreigners attending the University of Liège, but also for people from outside the university. More info...

@LTER courses

Besides the language classes integrated into the courses, the "Institut Supérieur des Langues Vivantes" allows students to take distance language classes through @LTER ("Apprentissage des Langues Télématique, Encadré et Responsabilisé"). Studying and practicing German, English, Dutch, Spanish, Italian and French as a foreign language is available to the entire university community - staff and students. Some modules are also open to people outside the university. More info...
