Documents required

Proof of identity (an original)

  • Identity Card (for students from European Union member countries or assimilated students)

OR

  • Certificate of citizenship or proof of residence (for non-assimilated students from outside the European Union)
  • C.E.S.S. (Certificat d'Enseignement Secondaire Supérieur [equivalent to High School/Secondary Diploma]) delivered by a Belgian institution, duly dated, signed, and stamped.

AND/OR

  • D.A.E.S. (Diplôme d'aptitude à accéder à l'enseignement supérieur [diploma awarded by the French Community, allowing students access to post-secondary education]). It is mandatory if you finished your secondary studies before the 1993-1994 academic year.

Prerequisites for admission (original document)

OR

  • Proof that the student has passed the entrance exam for admission into first year

OR

  • Letter authorizing registration issued by the Admissions Office (mandatory for students who have applied for admission)

Medical Certificate

If registering at ULg for the first time, you are asked to provide a medical certificate attesting to your being in sufficiently good health to attend courses and take exams. If this certificate is not submitted, your name will not be included on the list of students eligible to take exams and you will consequently be excluded from the exam session. You will also have to provide proof of all academic and/or professional activities conducted between the date when you obtained the CESS and the date of registration at ULg.

Entrance Exams :

There are special requirements for acceptance into certain programs:

If your secondary/high school diploma was delivered by the Flemish Community of Belgium, you will have to pass a French language test.
