International Relations Council

The ULg’s international strategy is defined by the International Relations Council (CRI). It combines representatives from all of the Faculties and members of the administration with the university authorities. See the full membership of the International Relations Council. Thanks to this strong link with the Faculties, the ULg’s international project is relayed and supported at all levels of institutional decisions and actions.

Its assignment consists in

  • increasing the mobility of the university community
  • setting up the institutional strategy
  • giving the visibility required for this international dimension of the ULg, both internally and externally

The CRI contributes to putting this policy into practice by backing the synergies between the departments or faculties and the administration. In files which fall under institutional action trends, it sets up specific commissions in charge in particular of putting these files into practice.   This is why the CRI has set up a permanent commission responsible for projects related to cooperation projects in developing countries (PACODEL).

Finally, the CRI guides the international strategy of the ULg by annually assessing the actions in progress.
