The University of Liege, led by the determination of its ‘Recteur', has developed an international strategy based on the many international activities of its professors and students. In the institutional project an international experience is regarded as a condition of quality, with teachers' and students' mobility offered as an instrument of confrontation and consequently of excellence.
Proposing a range of diverse possibilities that can be adapted to individual project, contributing a concrete support whenever the need arises, such are the missions of the International Relations department in the service of the members of the institution.
Through this diversity of projects, the University of Liege organizes international activities so that their combined impact gives the institution the international visibility it deserves. Thanks to the international opening of each of its faculties, the University of Liege fulfils its awakening mission in the fields of education and research.
The University of Liege has a role to play in Europe within the Bologna process, of which it is an active, and indeed proactive, partner. Beyond Europe, in the world at large, the University of Liege has developed numerous training and scientific relations, and established strategic partnerships.
To carry out such outgoing policies the University of Liege can rely on significant resources: a ULg mobility funds - a concrete answer to the challenges it faces - and its internal organization - with a department and a Board dedicated to international relations -.
