The engineer is by definition a person of action, someone who is called upon to balance the arch thrust of a cathedral, to develop motors, trains, cars and telephones, to calculate the image of a scan, to design new, unimaginably complex materials and systems, and somehow turn all of these into objects which can be used every day. The ULg's Faculty of Applied Science offers engineering programs which give students both a solid general background and the opportunity to specialize as their studies progress. Multidisciplinarity is also actively encouraged.
Over the course of their studies, students will be asked to choose from among a series of options such as aerospace science, geology, biomedical sciences, material resistance, electronics, physics or computer science.
Please note that access to the first Bachelor's year of the Faculty of Applied Science engineering program is conditional upon the applicant's passing a special admisssion exam.
