Enriched with the strong industrial tradition of the Liege region, the ULg has a long-standing global outlook on the economic world. Half of the research budget is devoted to projects of partnerships with companies, often enabling them to innovate, develop and increase their competitiveness.

Over the last 10 years, the University of Liege has also invested highly in the technological leadership and economic redeployment of the region.  It favours, in particular, the creation of technological clusters or centres, combining university scientific services with a number of companies and economic players around a given theme.
The ULg also takes part in the development and technological leadership of the LIEGE science park and plays an active role in interregional projects.

The University of Liege is still a pioneer in the implementation of a coherent policy and professional tools for highlighting the importance of research whose more visible results are the creation of spin-off firms – more than 80 firms created as yet! – and a significant portfolio of licensable technologies.

The University of Liege has also structured its continued education offer made up essentially of technological or management seminars for graduates and companies.

Company-University Interface, your entry point in the world of university research and innovation

The Company-University Interface is the structure in charge of implementing the valuation policy of the University of Liege. A real relay between the University and the socio-economic sector, the Company-University Interface encourages and accompanies industrial partnerships in all subjects covered by the University of Liege.
