Research Council 2010-2014
The University Research Council will operate with the support of three Sectorial Research Councils :
- Sectorial Research Council in Humanities and Social Sciences
- Sectorial Research Council in Health Science
- Sectorial Research Council in Science and Technology

In order to benefit from grants or research contracts from the Belgian public authorities, the university had to set up a Research Council (A.R. 16/06/1978). The university Board of Directors must request the opinion of this Council before making decisions on issues related to the Institution’s research policy. The Research Council provides advices on research and supervises the management of the university’s research resources and infrastructures.
