| The University of Liège is a window open onto the world, and we are proud to welcome foreign students, whose number increases every year. Our institution is also proud to respond to the ever-increasing number of requests from students for course programmes that are (including reorientations, transition to university programmes, etc.). If you are a European Union student, a student from outside the EU, or if you want to get credit for a course of in which you were, previously enrolled in Belgium, the Admissions Office is here to help you. |

The Admissions Office will also give you information about equivalencies recognized between different diplomas, independently from enrolment in a degree programme.
The Service will help you as you try to get credit for life experience or for previous professional experience, and advise you as to whether your admission will require an examination in French proficiency or general examination for admission to the first cycle of studies.
On the other hand, if you have already earned a secondary school diploma in Belgium (C.E.S.S.) and you want to enrol in the first year of a Bachelor's programme, you should get in touch with the Registration Service directly. That Service will also handle your request if you begin a course of study or if you benefit from an automatic transition.
