Do not declare that you are "studying abroad on a grant" or you may lose your entitlement to the allowance.
It is not a grant in the strict meaning of the word, but rather financial aid to partly cover the additional costs incurred by living abroad in the context of your studies. You keep your status of student at the University of Liège.
