OUTGOING student application

The first thing to do is to find out about the possible destinations. It is worthwhile meeting the member of the teaching staff responsible for the relevant exchange to discuss the best time to go, the length of time, what courses to take when there, what exams to take in Belgium or abroad, etc.

©ULg – Michel HouetThe academic selection of applicants is the exclusive responsibility of the professor or department responsible for the agreement. The Erasmus regulations in themselves do not specify any specific grades but rather a set of criteria such as the student's results, his knowledge of the language of the country he wishes to go to, his motivation, his ability to cope, etc.

The number of exchanges is strictly limited to the bilateral agreements which the University of Liège has signed with its different partners. The chosen students sign an Erasmus mobility contract specifying, as necessary, the amount of the grant and the exchange conditions (registration in the home institution, reimbursement of money received if the exchange is cancelled or finishes early, etc.).

IMPORTANT :

2012-2013 exchange students must fill in a registration file
online (available as of 01/03/12). The form must then be sent back by post after being printed and signed by the applicant and the Erasmus coordinator.
